YAYA Beauty Inc. was founded in 2003 by Bruno De Angelis, a highly respected Canadian hair stylist with an esteemed clientele, including the White House. A proud Canadian, Bruno has operated his salons worldwide, with one of the most captivating located right in front of Florence’s iconic Ponte Vecchio. His exceptional skills have earned him numerous prestigious awards, including multiple Contessa Awards. Bruno’s innovative approach began with a groundbreaking method to conceal bald spots for the legendary John Wayne, using hair clippings — an idea that ultimately led to the creation of hair fibers for public use.
Bruno’s wife, Barbara De Angelis, a renowned figure in the cosmetics industry with her own array of accolades, brought her expertise to the company, helping develop products designed to instantly rejuvenate and enhance one’s appearance, particularly for the entertainment industry.
Proudly Canadian, the De Angelis family has been committed to serving clients around the world from their Canadian roots. Their two daughters, Lisa and Cristina, have since joined the family business, bringing new energy and a direct approach to customer engagement.
